Couple getaway comfort
Loved my room with the wicker and king bed, very clean! It felt like family here with Norma and Steve being so cute, a change from big hotels.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

Angie's Guest Cottage offered a cozy retreat during my visit. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room's décor was tasteful with beautiful wicker accents. It was spotless, making me feel right at home. I appreciated the personal touch from Norma and Steve, who clearly manage the place with a family-oriented approach. However, communication could improve. After checking in, I struggled to get the Wi-Fi password, and text messages went unanswered. Also, although it’s a block from the ocean, I wish they had closer parking options for those with mobility issues. The vibe felt welcoming but could have been more accommodating in terms of facilities.

The personal touch from the owners made my stay special.
I faced issues with the Wi-Fi password after checking in, and it took several attempts to get a response. The parking situation was quite inconvenient, especially for those with mobility issues. I also noticed that the noise from the street was disruptive at times, especially during the night.

It was just a smart choice for a city escape in Virginia Beach with good value. The air conditioning made some noises but added a cozy touch, like the washing machine at home. Bring your own cooking utensils if you plan to use the kitchen.
